Here, I am prepping the berries...you have to dip them in boiling water to get the skins to crack to make it easier for drying. I have some berries that didn't fit on the trays...so I am cooking them down in the water and making homemade cranberry juice...much healthier than the stuff you buy out of the store....less sugar...you only put in what you want...so it is much better for you.
Keep in mind though, the juice is very tart before sugar....I suggest you keep trying it and add little bits of sugar at a time until you find the flavor you like if you do this.
